Back to OHBM
On October 16th, 2017, approximately 70 members of the Montreal brain-imaging community got to know each other a bit better at a ‘Back to OHBM’ event organized by members of the Ludmer Centre/MCIN and the CRIUGM. Principal investigators, post-docs, and students alike participated in an afternoon of talks, poster sessions, and oral poster presentations covering work presented at this year’s meeting in Vancouver, updates, and reflections on important current and future trends in the community.
Invited speaker were Drs. Alan C. Evans, Jean-Baptiste Poline, Pierre Bellec, and Alain Dagher, whose collective expertise were invaluable to the proceedings.
Chief among several objectives was developing new contacts and collaborations among researchers in Montreal. Feedback from attendees thus far suggests this would be a worthwhile event to hold yearly and so organizers have already begun improving the format and are looking forward to next year!
